We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ruth Bovill as Headteacher and Ben Robinson as Deputy Headteacher at Heathermount School. Ruth and Ben have taken over the day-to-day management and running of the school. Christine Edden, Principal, will continue to act in an advisory role, to support Ruth and Ben and oversee the school's development and strategic direction.

To help raise awareness of World Autism Awareness Day our services decided to have a cake bake off competition! We had a variety of entries, all of which were excellent, and here is what some of the services got up to.

By Holly Maby - Well, I really should know that it is World Autism Awareness day soon… but I've only just heard when it was! Maybe we're not all that aware after all! I think such a day is a good opportunity to raise peoples awareness about autism as most of the people that I've known, even if they are working with people with autism on a daily basis, such as teachers and other public services, they often don't really know much about it.
