Bristolroad (12)Your donation to The Disabilities Trust will help people with disabilities achieve lives which are as fulfilling and independent as possible. Your gift can make a real difference.

How your donation can help:

If you wish, you can restrict your donation by asking us to spend it on a named service (for example, Shinewater Court) or division (for example, our services for people with a physical disability).

Occasionally, our plans for individual projects within services may alter, if the needs or wishes of our service users change. If you have donated money for a specific project which does not go ahead, we may spend the money on a different project within that service which will also benefit service users.

Gift Aid

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box on all of our donation forms so we can reclaim the tax on your donation. When you make a Gift Aid declaration, we receive at least an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, now and in future.

Tax can be reclaimed on any donation made by you as long as you have paid UK income or capital gains tax equal to or more than the amount reclaimed on your donations in the current tax year.

Even better, we can also claim back the tax on any donations you have made within the last six years. You can cancel your declaration at any time by notifying us, and we would be grateful if you could let us know if you change your name or address.

For more information about making a donation to The Disabilities Trust, please email fundraising@thedtgroup.org or telephone 01444 237 286.
